BJP Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Manhandling Pregnant Journalist

The BJP alleged on Tuesday that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi manhandled a three-month-pregnant journalist covering a protest in New Delhi. BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari shared a video of journalist Richa Parashar recounting the incident, stating she was grabbed by the shoulder, yanked, and thrown to the ground. Bhandari claimed Parashar was hospitalised after the incident and accused Gandhi of behaving like a "goon" despite his slogan "Smash The Patriarchy". The BJP further alleged that no Congress workers helped the journalist and that party members instead cast aspersions on her. Bhandari also criticised Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi for remaining silent on allegations of sexual harassment involving Congress MP Bimole Akoijam.
