BJP Veteran LK Advani Hospitalised in Delhi for Chest Infection

Bharatiya Janata Party veteran Lal Krishna Advani was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi late Friday evening due to a chest infection. The 98-year-old leader was brought to the hospital at around 7:30 pm and admitted to the pulmonary department, where a team of doctors is monitoring his condition. Hospital authorities reported that his condition is currently stable while he remains under observation. This follows a previous hospitalisation in May for age-related health issues. Advani previously served as Union home minister, deputy prime minister, and was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 2024.
