BMW Teases Production-Spec M3 EV With Quad-Motor Setup

BMW has released new camouflaged photos of the upcoming M3 EV, showing a design closely resembling the original Concept M Neue Klasse prototype. The fully electric performance sedan will sit at the pinnacle of BMW's i3 lineup, which represents the brand's next-generation 3-series range slated to go on sale next year. The vehicle features a quad-motor setup assigning one electric motor to each wheel, enabling dynamic switching between all-wheel drive and rear-wheel-drive configurations. It also incorporates a track-ready battery pack designed to deliver higher peak output and chassis stiffness. Pricing and official release dates have not yet been announced by BMW.
