Bruno Fernandes scored a hat-trick for Manchester United in their Premier League match against Ipswich Town at Old Trafford on Sunday. Ipswich Town opened the scoring through Leif Davis in the 29th minute before Fernandes equalised 11 minutes later from a pass by Matheus Cunha. Fernandes then converted a penalty after the hour mark and completed his hat-trick seven minutes later. It was his second hat-trick for Manchester United, with his first coming against Leeds United in the 2021-22 season. The Portugal midfielder became the 10th player in club history to score multiple Premier League hat-tricks, joining players such as Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo. He also became only the second midfielder at the club to achieve the feat, following Paul Scholes.
