Burnham Pushes for Bolder UK Ties with EU Ahead of Summit

· World · The Independent, LiveMint

Andy Burnham has indicated that Britain intends to adopt a bolder approach toward building closer relations with the European Union. Speaking to European Council President Antonio Costa during a train journey to Kyiv, the Prime Minister emphasised the need for greater cross-sector cooperation. The discussions precede an upcoming UK-EU summit that was initially scheduled for July and postponed to later this year.
