Central Delhi Mobile Internet Blocked for Anti-EC Protest

Delhi Police has ordered a 24-hour mobile internet blackout in central Delhi starting at 10 pm tonight. The restriction covers a four-kilometre radius from the Janpath-Kartavya Path crossing ahead of a protest by the Cockroach Janta Party at Jantar Mantar. Authorities have deployed 28,000 security personnel and imposed travel restrictions, including the cancellation of 45 trains at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations. Additionally, 57 metro stations across the city will close entry and exit points starting at 9 pm on Friday.
