· Business · Reuters, CNA, Bloomberg
China's exports surged 12.1% year-on-year in September, surpassing the 6.8% forecast and up from August's 2.4% growth. Imports accelerated 3.5% in the same month, marking the fastest expansion since February and up from August's 0.5% rise. The trade surplus narrowed to $82.53 billion from $85.17 billion in August, while total trade volume reached $532.03 billion. Growth was driven by strong shipments of machinery and electrical equipment to major markets including the United States.
