CIAL stated that weather conditions in Kochi were entirely normal and did not warrant any flight cancellations or delays. The airport operator noted that no other airline operating out of Kochi reported weather-related disruptions during the same period. CIAL added that SpiceJet has failed to adequately address ongoing passenger grievances over the past few days. Meanwhile, the National Company Law Tribunal recently fined SpiceJet ₹7.5 lakh for wasting court time over settlement announcements.
