Central Industrial Security Force personnel at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru detained two Indian nationals after discovering 260 grams of gold-like powder concealed in their clothing. The suspects, identified as Laxmana Devadiga and Raghavendra Devadiga, were intercepted at Terminal 1 on Thursday morning. The duo had arrived on an IndiGo flight from Bangkok and were preparing to board a connecting flight to Ahmedabad. Authorities suspect the passengers were acting as mules for a gold smuggling racket. The recovered material has been sent for testing to determine its purity and total value, while the KIA police have taken custody of the individuals for further investigation.
