CJP Demands Structural Reforms Following IIT Delhi Student Suicide

The Cockroach Janta Party has called for immediate structural reforms across Indian Institutes of Technology following the death of a 31-year-old MSc Physics student at IIT Delhi. The student allegedly died by suicide on campus last Saturday, marking the eighth such incident at the institute in three years. CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka stated that 65 students have died by suicide across all IITs in the last five years, indicating a systemic failure in mental health and support protocols. Protesting students at IIT Delhi are demanding the resignation of the dean, associate deans, and the head of the physics department. They are also calling for an independent investigation into alleged administrative lapses and ₹1 crore in compensation for the deceased's family.
