The Cockroach Janata Party issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Rajasthan education minister Madan Dilawar, demanding the arrest of individuals allegedly involved in an attack on party volunteers in Jaipur. CJP co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka stated that party members had visited Rampura-Kanwarpura village to inspect a government school operating out of a buffalo shed when they were assaulted. According to Ranka, attackers smashed vehicle windows, broke phones, threw stones, and injured several volunteers, including a woman and a member who suffered a fractured hand. Ranka warned that failure to make arrests and withdraw government orders within two days would trigger a statewide agitation and demands for the minister's resignation. The Rajasthan BJP denied the allegations, with minister Jawahar Singh Bedham claiming that Congress workers were operating behind the CJP.
