Chelsea forward Cole Palmer has pulled out of the latest England squad due to discomfort and pain. England manager Thomas Tuchel stated that Palmer misses too many opportunities to play for the national team because of frequent injuries. Palmer has featured just three times since Tuchel took charge of the Three Lions in January 2025 and was previously left out of the World Cup squad. The 24-year-old is currently abroad completing an injury-specific training plan accompanied by a Chelsea rehabilitation coach. Declan Rice, Tino Livramento, Marcus Rashford, and Kobbie Mainoo also withdrew from the squad with injuries.
