Commercial LPG prices hiked by ₹10 per cylinder, ATF hiked by ₹6.28/litre
· Business · The Hindu
State-run fuel retailers have increased commercial LPG cylinder prices by ₹10 and Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) rates by ₹6.28 per litre. The adjustment applies to 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinders used by hotels, restaurants, and other business establishments. Aviation turbine fuel prices are revised fortnightly based on international crude oil benchmarks and foreign exchange rates. Domestic cooking gas prices remain unchanged in the latest revision. The price changes take effect immediately across all major cities.
Why it matters
The commercial LPG hike raises operational costs for restaurants, hotels, and food businesses, while the ATF increase raises financial burdens on domestic airlines.
