Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wore a Batman mask during a protest march in New Delhi as opposition leaders marched toward the Supreme Court on Monday. The opposition leaders undertook the March for Democracy to file a joint petition against the Chief Election Commissioner and alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Leaders including Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee, and others joined the heavily barricaded march. The legal action follows the CJI's refusal to meet opposition leaders on the matter because the issue is sub judice.
