Several people were injured on Friday morning when a crane collapsed in the Kurla area of Mumbai. The incident occurred as a Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) team prepared for an eviction and demolition operation in Qureshi Nagar. The crane, which was being mounted using a hydraulic excavator, suffered a structural failure. Six victims were transported to Sion Hospital, and two were admitted to Kurla Bhabha Hospital, with their conditions currently unknown.
