Dance, assailants & a party: How ‘killer bahu’ orchestrated father-in-law’s murder
· India · Times of India, NDTV
A woman in Kanpur has been arrested for allegedly masterinding the murder of her 63-year-old father-in-law, Vineet Minocha. Police suspect the motive was a dispute over CCTV cameras installed in the home, which the accused claimed violated her privacy. Shalu allegedly hired a former employee, Vishal Gautam, and an acquaintance named Kishor to commit the crime, paying a ₹6 lakh advance. On the night of the incident, Shalu and her husband Subrat were seen dancing at a lounge while she reportedly remained in contact with the hitmen via WhatsApp calls and messages.
Why it matters
