The death toll from a Russian strike on an arms depot in the village of Myla near Kyiv has risen to 38, making it the deadliest attack of the war so far this year. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that emergency workers and bomb disposal teams continued clearing the site on Sunday following fires and explosions that began on Saturday. The strike left 20 people injured and four missing, marking the second munitions depot attack near Kyiv within two months. Ukrainian prosecutors have opened an investigation into alleged criminal negligence regarding the storage of arms close to residential areas. Meanwhile, Russia’s Ministry of Defence announced plans for massive strikes against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure following a Ukrainian drone campaign targeting Russian oil facilities and a military base.
