Delhi Airport Consults Stakeholders on Master Plan 2036

Delhi airport is preparing to submit its proposed 10-year master plan to the Airports Authority of India after consulting with airlines and ground handlers this week. The Airport Users Consultative Committee meeting scheduled for August 18 will review the infrastructure roadmap designed to manage operations until 2036. Under the proposed blueprint, passenger capacity is projected to rise to 116 million annually by April 2030 and eventually reach 125 million from the current 106 million. This expanded capacity will be generated by constructing a new pier E at Terminal 3. The facility handled approximately 6 million passengers in July, marking a 3.7% increase compared to the same month last year.
