Delhi Businessman’s Wife Foils Fake CBI Raid in Rohini

A group of eight to 10 individuals posing as CBI officers attempted to conduct a search at a businessman’s residence in Delhi’s Rohini area. The homeowner's wife refused to grant them entry after they failed to produce valid identification or official authorization. The group remained outside for approximately 90 minutes before leaving under the pretext of retrieving documents after neighbors began questioning their credentials. The family later reported that they received a fabricated notice bearing the signature of the CBI Director via WhatsApp. Delhi Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the residence to identify the suspects involved in the attempted extortion.
