Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has ordered an inquiry into the death of a 10-year-old girl who allegedly fell sick after being punished at her school in East Delhi. The student, who had a history of epilepsy, reportedly fell ill on July 22 after being scolded and made to stand for not carrying a book. She passed away on August 27, and her family has alleged that she was distressed due to the teachers' behavior. Education Minister Ashish Sood confirmed that the concerned teacher has been transferred pending the outcome of the investigation.
