Delhi Government Announces ₹13,000 Crore Infrastructure and Welfare Campaign

The Delhi government will launch a month-long initiative titled “Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan” on September 17 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the campaign includes the inauguration or foundation-laying of infrastructure projects valued at approximately ₹13,800 crore. These projects include ₹8,000 crore allocated for Delhi Jal Board initiatives and additional work by the Public Works Department. The drive will feature health camps, sanitation efforts, and registration drives for various government schemes across all 70 assembly constituencies. Additionally, the government plans to felicitate over 4,000 Anganwadi and ASHA workers while hosting youth-focused innovation challenges.
