· India · Hindustan Times, The Hindu

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday dismissed a petition filed by two NEET aspirants, Rishi Kailash and Fatima Kounser, seeking the scrapping of the National Testing Agency. The bench, comprising Chief Justice DK Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia, ruled that the plea combined individual grievances with public interest litigation prayers and could not be entertained. The petitioners had alleged tampering with OMR sheets during the NEET-UG re-examination held after the May 3 test was cancelled due to a paper leak. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta denied any OMR sheet tampering on behalf of the Centre and the NTA.
