Delhi High Court To Add 7 New Judges, Raising Total Strength To 50

Chief Justice D K Upadhyaya will administer the oath of office to seven new judges at the Delhi High Court. The incoming appointees are Nivedita Anil Sharma, Nisha Sahay Saxena, Sanjay Sharma, Bharat Parashar, Aditi Choudhary, Dinesh Bhatt and Arun Bhardwaj. With these additions, the total judicial strength of the Delhi High Court will increase to 50 judges. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place tomorrow in New Delhi. The appointments are expected to help address the pending caseload in the court.
