Delhi Launches Namo Yamuna River Safari With 40-Minute Rides

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inspected the newly established Namo Yamuna River Safari ahead of its proposed soft launch before Chhath. The project features a 5km cruise route running between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur, offering 40-minute rides priced at Rs 500 per person. Each cruise boat can accommodate up to 30 passengers, with tickets made available online through the Delhi Tourism website. The initiative stems from an agreement signed in March 2025 between the Inland Waterways Authority of India and Delhi government agencies to develop cruise tourism on the Yamuna.
