Delhi Park Gang-Rape Accused Dined Out And Washed Clothes To Hide Evidence

Three men accused of gang-raping a 17-year-old girl inside Aastha Kunj Park near Kalkaji Temple in Delhi visited a restaurant immediately after the crime and washed their clothes at home to eliminate evidence, police said. The attack occurred at around 7:15 pm on Monday while the victim was visiting the park with a male friend on her 17th birthday. Police arrested the three accused, identified as brothers Mukesh Singh and Hemant Singh along with Asif, on Tuesday following a brief exchange of fire with one of the suspects. Investigators recovered an unlicensed firearm, a knife, and pornographic content from Asif's mobile phone, while forensic experts work to extract data from the seized devices. Local residents and security guards identified Asif as a troublemaker who frequently carried a knife and harassed couples in the area.
