Delhi experienced its wettest August day in two years, with several areas reporting heavy rainfall and subsequent waterlogging. Data recorded until 8:30 am showed significant accumulation across the city, including 101.9 mm in Ayanagar and 100.4 mm at the Ridge. Other key stations reported high rainfall, with Safdarjung recording 99.1 mm, Lodi Road 98.3 mm, and Palam 68.0 mm. The heavy downpour led to widespread waterlogging in various parts of the national capital.
