Delhi has recorded 2,392 cases of Influenza-A this year, with 1,777 of those confirmed as H1N1, according to health department data. On Thursday alone, the capital reported 114 new H1N1 cases, prompting the government to issue a directive urging citizens to seek medical advice for symptoms like fever, cough, and body aches. Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh stated that the city has sufficient hospital beds, medicines, and medical equipment to manage the seasonal rise in infections. Experts attribute the spike to current weather conditions, specifically high temperatures and humidity levels.
