Delhi authorities delayed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) timetable for a third time. The draft electoral roll will now be published on 31 August instead of 24 August, while the final roll will be released on 4 November rather than 27 October. The rationalisation of polling stations, originally due by 17 August, has been pushed to 24 August to allow additional planning time. During the recent enumeration phase, 97.51 lakh forms were collected and uploaded, covering about 67% of the 1.45 crore voters; the remaining 47.58 lakh names will be struck off from the roll. The objection filing window stretches from 31 August to 30 September, and the notice period extends to 29 October.
