A Delhi-based man, identified as Anurag Yadav, is facing a police investigation after allegedly leaving The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur without paying a bill of Rs 5.74 lakh. Yadav stayed at the five-star property with his wife and two children from August 14 to 23. Upon checkout on August 24, he refused to settle the charges, claiming a travel agency would cover the costs. The travel agency has denied any such arrangement with the guest, according to a complaint filed by the hotel's liaisoning manager, Ravindra Singh. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident as a potential fraud.
