Dhoot Transmission’s shares hit the market on 17 August, opening at ₹1,200 on NSE, 37.77% above the IPO price of ₹871. The IPO was 74.21‑times oversubscribed, netting ₹3,067 crore. 212.92‑times subscription was seen from QIBs, 51.93‑times from NII and 8.12‑times from retail investors. Anchor investors, including BlackRock, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and SBI Mutual Funds, had already committed ₹918.3 crore before the issue. The company plans to use the proceeds to repay borrowings and invest in subsidiaries.
