DIAT Student Dies After Falling from PMPML Bus on Sinhagad Road in Pune

A 25-year-old student from the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology died after falling from a moving PMPML bus and coming under a school bus in Pune on Monday morning. The victim, Kanchan Balwant Khadda, was residing at the Krishna Hostel on the DIAT campus in Girinagar, Khadakwasla. The accident occurred around 9.45 am on Sinhagad Road opposite the Brahma Hotel on the lane towards Swargate. Khadda was rushed to Jagtap Hospital, where doctors declared her dead during treatment. Police have taken the drivers of both buses to Sassoon General Hospital for medical examination and launched an investigation using local CCTV footage.
