Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi Concert Tickets Sold Out Despite Last-Minute Availability
· Entertainment · India Today, Times of India
Diljit Dosanjh's concert at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium sold out after tickets remained available just four hours before the Friday show. While the event is now listed as sold out on BookMyShow, fans were seen in unofficial WhatsApp groups attempting to sell tickets at prices lower than their original cost. The singer has previously seen rapid sell-outs for his Dil-Luminati tour and international performances at venues like Wembley and Madison Square Garden. The article notes that high ticket prices and potential audience fatigue may have contributed to the slower demand in Delhi.
Why it matters
The incident reflects growing concerns over the high cost of live entertainment in India, which is increasingly pricing out fans and creating a mismatch between supply and demand for major stadium shows.
