Global delivery platform DoorDash inaugurated its first India office in Hyderabad on Wednesday, establishing a major customer experience and integrity service centre. Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu formally opened the facility alongside company CFO Ravi Inukonda and Workforce Strategy director Jenna Kohnke. The NASDAQ-listed firm plans to hire 500 employees initially, scaling headcount past 3,000 within the next two years. The Hyderabad location joins existing global hubs in Tempe, Arizona, and Mexico City to support worldwide operations. The expansion cements Hyderabad's status as a premier global tech hub for hyperlocal commerce giants.
