Veteran actor Nana Patekar died of cardiac arrest at Manipal Hospital, Goa, at 5:20 am on October 8, 2026. Dr Shekhar Salkar, Senior Consultant at the Oncology Department, stated Patekar texted a friend at 2:30 am complaining of uneasiness. The emergency team received a call from Patekar’s caretaker at 4:18 am and initiated CPR immediately, but he was already in cardiac arrest upon arrival. Despite continuous resuscitation efforts, the actor never showed any sign of recovery and was eventually declared dead.
