Drunk Teen Driving Mini Cooper Kills Three Near Cochin Airport

Three young adults were killed in the early hours of Sunday when a speeding Mini Cooper rammed into their scooter near the Cochin International Airport in Kerala. The victims were identified as Devika, Gopika, and Ijaz, who worked at a local handicrafts shop and had stepped out for late-night tea. Eyewitnesses apprehended the driver, 19-year-old Suhail Sajeev, at the scene and handed him over to the police. Ernakulam Rural Superintendent of Police KS Sudarshan stated that the accused was prima facie drunk at the time of the collision, and blood and urine samples have been collected for confirmation. Police have charged the teenager with culpable homicide and are reviewing his social media history for previous instances of reckless driving.
