The elections were held for four key posts — president, vice-president, secretary and joint secretary — and the ABVP has expressed confidence of a 4-0 sweep. Dabas, an international-level tennis player from Kanjhawala, studies at DU's Department of Buddhist Studies and has represented the university at North India University Games. Meena, hailing from Rajasthan, is pursuing an MA from DU's Department of Buddhist Studies and was nominated by NSUI to unseat the ABVP.
