ED and IT Probe Being Used As Political Cover Against Me, Alleges Priyank Kharge

Karnataka Cabinet Minister Priyank Kharge has alleged that a Union Minister in the Narendra Modi government is pressuring the Income Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate to target him and his Cabinet colleagues. Kharge claimed that the KPSC recruitment investigation is being used as a political cover to weaponise central agencies against Congress leaders. He also alleged that an RSS recruit is attempting to use the ED to force accused individuals into falsely implicating Congress leaders. Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced that the Karnataka Public Service Commission will be restructured to prevent examination irregularities and ensure a transparent recruitment process. The Chief Minister also confirmed that permission has been granted to interrogate accused individual Jnanendra to uncover the truth behind the irregularities.
