ED Raids Karnataka Public Service Commission Over Recruitment Irregularities

The Enforcement Directorate is searching 21 premises across Karnataka and Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in connection with alleged irregularities in the recruitment of Veterinary Officers. The raids target the Karnataka Public Service Commission office in Bengaluru, the residence of suspended Chairperson Shivashankarappa S. Sahukar, and the premises of Edutest Solutions Private Limited. Investigations follow four FIRs registered at the Vidhana Soudha Police Station, which were subsequently handed over to the State’s Criminal Investigation Department. Allegations include question paper leakage, tampering with OMR sheets, and demands for bribes ranging from ₹70 lakh to ₹80 lakh per candidate. The ED is currently tracing financial transactions linked to these recruitment practices.
