Eight Dead, Three Critical After Consuming Illicit Liquor in MP

Eight people died and three others remain in critical condition in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, following the suspected consumption of illicit liquor on Saturday night. The victims, hailing from Ghughar, Nauraj, Baraj, and nearby villages, were rushed to Banda Civil Hospital after their health deteriorated. Sagar SP Anurag Sujania identified the consumption of toxic liquor as the preliminary cause of the deaths. Collector Pratibha Pal has deployed medical teams and urged anyone who consumed alcohol in the last 48 hours to seek immediate screening.
