ElevenLabs Partners with SoundCloud for AI Music Publishing
· Technology · TechCrunch, Gadgets360
ElevenLabs announced a partnership with SoundCloud, allowing users to directly publish AI-generated music created with its ElevenMusic platform on SoundCloud. SoundCloud Artist Pro users will receive three months of ElevenMusic Pro, enabling them to generate up to 1,000 songs and split stem files 500 times monthly. ElevenLabs, which launched its music generation model in 2025 and a consumer app in April 2026, has seen users create over 25 million tracks. While SoundCloud is embracing AI, other platforms like Deezer are introducing filters for AI music, and Bandcamp has banned AI-generated tracks.
Why it matters
This collaboration could significantly change how AI-generated music is distributed and consumed, offering new avenues for artists and potentially impacting the music industry's approach to AI content.
