Elon Musk posted on X criticising the regulatory delays facing Starlink in India and sarcastically addressing Mukesh Ambani as the real boss of India. The exchange followed a statement from the Centre asserting that India's regulatory framework for satcom services is fair, non-discriminatory, and currently undergoing standard security assessments. Musk argued that Starlink has spent five years complying with requirements across more than 165 countries without securing a license in India. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi and Telangana politician Revanth Reddy also weighed in on the ongoing satcom row. Musk maintained that satellite internet would expand connectivity to unserved areas and rural schools.
