Escorts Kubota to Invest Rs 2,000 Crore in New Uttar Pradesh Plant

Escorts Kubota has announced a Rs 2,000 crore investment to establish a large-scale manufacturing facility in the YEIDA industrial area of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The new plant will be developed in phases across 154 acres and is designed to produce tractors, farm implements, construction equipment, and engines for both domestic and international markets. In the first phase, the company plans to expand its annual production capacity by 60,000 tractors and 15,000 construction equipment units. The project will be financed through internal accruals and proceeds from a previous preferential share issue to Kubota Corporation. This facility is expected to serve as a key global manufacturing hub for the Kubota Group as part of its 2030 growth strategy.
