Everton Drops Jack Grealish Over Disciplinary Breach
· Sports · BBC Sport, BBC News
Everton excluded Jack Grealish from their Carabao Cup match against Newcastle United on Thursday due to a breach of club discipline. While the club did not provide specific details, reports suggest the decision followed his absence from a training session. The 31-year-old England winger is currently on loan at Everton from Manchester City. Grealish has made five Premier League appearances for the Toffees this season and featured in their previous Carabao Cup victory over Wolves.
Why it matters
The disciplinary action leaves Everton without a key attacking option for their cup campaign and raises questions about Grealish's immediate future at the club.
