Ex-Boyfriend Nabbed in Agra Eight Months After Woman's Death in US

Agra police have arrested Arjun Sharma from a flat in connection with a cheating case filed by the father of Nikitha Rao Godishala. Godishala, a 27-year-old data analyst from Secunderabad, was found dead on January 3 inside Sharma's apartment in Ellicott City, Maryland. Authorities reported that Sharma had fled the United States after filing a missing person's report on January 2. While Hyderabad police registered an FIR based on a cheating complaint involving a large sum of money, the US government has requested Sharma's extradition under the India-US Extradition Treaty. Sharma was produced before the Patiala House Court in New Delhi following his arrest.
