Ex-SC judge to lead probe into police action on CJP Parliament march

The Supreme Court will constitute a high-powered committee led by a retired Supreme Court judge to investigate allegations and counter-allegations surrounding police action on student protesters during the CJP-led Parliament march on July 20. The panel will also include a former High Court Chief Justice and a senior police officer, with the mandate to recommend guidelines for the graded use of force against unruly agitators.
