External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will travel to Russia on August 23 and 24, 2026, for a two-day official visit. He is scheduled to co-chair the 27th session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation. The visit follows an invitation from the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov. During his stay, Jaishankar will also meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov. The two leaders are expected to discuss regional and global issues.
