The Nunna police in the NTR Commissionerate arrested five individuals on Sunday in connection with an alleged gang rape in Vambay Colony. The arrests were made following direct instructions from Police Commissioner S. V. Rajasekhar Babu. Women Police Station Assistant Commissioner of Police Prasad stated that the accused were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
