In a recent incident, a rat was discovered in a Blinkit ice cream freezer in Thane, while a customer in Mangaluru reported receiving spoiled chicken from a KFC outlet. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has also scrutinized companies including Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Subway, Burger King, Starbucks, and Monginis for various quality concerns. Additionally, the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration issued show-cause notices to actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff regarding a pan masala advertisement. Authorities have sealed several facilities, including a Zepto warehouse in Bengaluru, as part of these enforcement efforts.
