Foreign Investors Return to Seven Indian Multibagger Stocks
· Business · Economic Times, LiveMint
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have resumed buying shares in seven Indian midcap and smallcap companies after reducing their stakes for two consecutive quarters. According to data from Ace Equity, these investors increased their holdings in the June 2026 quarter after selling during the December 2025 and March 2026 periods. The list includes companies like Cupid, Sansera Engineering, Welspun Corp, Avalon Technologies, and Diamond Power Infrastructure, many of which have delivered significant one-year returns. Cupid recorded the highest growth among the group, with its stock price rising 730% over the past year. This shift follows a broader trend of FIIs turning net buyers in the Indian equity market, with inflows of Rs 11,045 crore in July and Rs 13,123 crore in August.
Why it matters
The return of foreign capital to these specific small and midcap stocks signals renewed institutional confidence in high-growth Indian companies after a period of divestment.
