Priyanka Kakkar, a former spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party, officially joined the Congress party in New Delhi on Saturday. Kakkar stated that she could no longer defend the Aam Aadmi Party's internal shifts, citing concerns over the party's leadership and the appointment of individuals to senior positions in Punjab without prior grassroots experience. She praised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his resilience and authenticity, contrasting his approach with other political figures. Kakkar also expressed support for Gandhi's ongoing criticism of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar regarding electoral-roll revisions and voter rights.
